NOT JUST A

Logo

Our icon, inspired by the Muladhara (Root) Chakra, takes on new form by intertwining imagery of the four petal lotus, heart and circle.

Bare Intimacy - four petal lotus, heart and circle

Muladhara is located at the base of the spine and connects the mind, body and soul with the Earth.

Muladhara - Bare Intimacy

When Muladhara is open, it keeps us grounded and connected with the energy of nature.

The four petal lotus symbolises the four aspects of consciousness:

mind | intellect | consciousness | ego

The circle and heart symbols represent the mind-body connection.

Bare Intimacy Favicon

The circle represents the mind and the heart represents the body.

The hearts intertwined with one another within the circle are symbolic of connection and relationship.

This can be intrapersonal (relationship with self) and/or interpersonal (relationship with other).

This land was, and always will be Aboriginal land. Our current home base is on the land of the Whadjuk Noongar people.

I would like to acknowledge the traditional caretakers of this land on which we work from and elders past, present and emerging. I recognise the vital traditions, stories, knowledge, laws and lore they carry and uphold in their minds, bodies and communities.

I'd like to pay my respects to the brave humans within the LGBTQIA+ community that have and continue to fight/die for the right to exist and love openly.
